Since the launch of Tiki Drums in 2008 Tiki Drums has been dedicated to building some of the best drums in the world.

Tiki Drums is fast creating a great name for its self as a custom drum builder as well as the restoration work Preston Prince does. Clients include, Ralph Salmins, Allan Cox, Martin France, Ben Thompson, James Drohan, Adam Bushall, Dave MattacksVinny Lammi, Mike Bowes, Matt Skelton Pat Garvey, Gareth Thompson, Woody from British Sea Power, to name a few.

Tiki drums has also recently launched their snare drum building courses, they are the only people worldwide offering these unique courses. The courses are held over weekends where you will learn how to build a snare drum from start to finish and get to take it home with you.

Tiki Drums also build their own high end Custom Snare drums and Drum kits. Preston's drums have been heard all over the world and have been heard in the Royal Albert Hall, Abbey Rd, Church Studios, Glastonbury, The Brighton Dome, The Theatre Royal,  Ronnie Scotts, and the Jazz Verdict.

As well as being the owner of Tiki Drums, an excellent drum builder and drum restorer, Preston Prince is also the deputy head at Brighton Institute of Modern Music (BIMM). Preston has been a professional Drummer since he was 18, playing with James Hunter, Bap Kennedy, Astrid Williamson, Violla Wills, and Camille O'Sullivan to name a few. He has studied restoration and drum building as well as having an incredible depth of knowledge of vintage drums.
